Data protection statement according to the Telemediengesetz (TMG)
It is important to us to protect the privacy of the users of our web pages. Therefore, the following data protection terms apply to you as a user of the web presence of DIPF:
Anonymous data collection
In general, you can visit the web pages of DIPF without telling us who you are. We come to know only the name of your Internet service provider (ISP), the website from which you visited our site and the IDeA web pages you visited. This information is only used for statistical purposes. As an individual user you remain anonymous.
Collection and use of personal data
Personal data are only collected in order to fulfill a contract, to conduct a survey or in case of registration for a personalized service (e.g. the request to conduct literature search).
By using the personalized services of the DIPF, you agree with the terms of data collection and the use outlined in the following:
- Your registration data can be used to respond to your inquiry, to search for literature, etc. as well as to design electronic services in line with demand. Personal data are only stored for an appropriate time, for instance in order to answer further inquiries more accurately. Subsequently personal data are deleted; only task-related data are stored for evaluative purposes.
- Furthermore, the information gathered during your visit of the DIPF pages can be used to design a user profile in order to offer you tailor-made information.
Export and use of data in countries outside of the European Economic Area (EEA)
No export of personal data takes place into countries outside of the EEA.
Sharing of personal data
Those personal data collected during the use of DIPF web pages are only used by DIPF to create electronic services in line with demand. No personal data is shared with third parties.
